FEWC Career Awareness Committee

The mission of the FEWC career awareness committee is to improve the image of the electric utility industry and introduce the public to innovative, lucrative, and productive, career paths within our industry.

This committee will illustrate the multiple opportunities for entry, advancement possibilities and varying levels of education required for positions within our industry. We will communicate the need for students to focus on science, technology, engineering and math as well as support our local schools through career awareness involvement. Educational resources may be provided such as the Energy Providers Coalition for Education (EPCE), National Energy Foundation (NEF), National Energy Education Development Project (NEED), etc. This committee will also express the electric utility industry direct and indirect workforce needs presently and into the future.
